Roblox ping

Roblox picks the server for you, and distance sets a base ping no program can remove. If your ping is far above that or jumps during play, the cause is usually at home: Wi-Fi, a full router queue (bufferbloat) or background downloads.

## Step by step

### 1. See your ping

In game: Esc › Settings › Performance Stats; ping shows at the top.

### 2. Measure the network

Run Quartiy’s ping, jitter and packet loss test.

### 3. Load test

High bufferbloat means your router needs SQM / QoS or a download limit.

### 4. Wi-Fi and adapter

Quartiy turns off Wi-Fi power saving and background scanning.

### 5. Close downloads

Pre-game cleanup closes launchers and sync apps.

### 6. Rejoin

If one server is far, rejoining often lands you on a closer one.

## About “ping booster” apps

They cannot shorten the distance to Roblox servers. Fixing Wi-Fi, the router queue and background downloads is what lowers and steadies ping.
