Security

Optimization tools change system settings, so it is fair to ask what they touch. Quartiy is a signed-in Windows app that changes Windows, driver and network settings, records every change and can revert all of them.

## What Quartiy never does

### No injection

It does not inject code into games or overlays, and does not read or write game memory.

### No kernel driver

It installs no driver and writes no IFEO entries for game executables.

### Security stays on

Defender, the firewall, SmartScreen, Windows Update and Device Guard are never disabled by the app.

### Anti-cheat untouched

Vanguard, EAC and BattlEye processes are never reprioritised or closed.

## How rollback works

### Backup first

The previous value of every setting is stored before the change.

### One-click revert

Revert one step, a profile or everything from the Support page.

### Clean exit

Quitting the app fully reverts its active changes.

### Protection mode

Re-applies your chosen permanent settings if a Windows update resets them.

## Antivirus warnings

New releases of optimization tools are sometimes flagged by antivirus heuristics before they build reputation. Download only from quartiy.org; if you see a warning, the antivirus guide explains how to check the file.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can it get me banned?

Quartiy does not inject code into games, read game memory or install a kernel driver. It changes Windows, driver and network settings only, and never touches anti-cheat processes (Vanguard, EAC, BattlEye).

### What data does Quartiy send?

Account and licence checks, and diagnostic packages only when you choose to send them to support.
